Hey gang, just looking for some opinions. I recently gave www.dbmasters.net a new look. A lot of the same components as the last site, just layed out differently, trying to do a little SEO and some usability and speed improvements.
Any comments appreciated, or typos you find or anything like that...
Also, if you have a studio that you take clients in, or an indie record label, let me know, giveme a URL, maybe I will add it to the list on on alliances page...but I will only add a label if you sign me ;-)

Aug 20, 2004 08:16 am Definitely clean and concise. I think you've got the makings of a great site here. =)
Aug 20, 2004 08:37 am Good job DB...
I like it. Its far better than your last version and it looks better on the eye.
Usability wise, it would seem better with the links/mouse over links in CSS in the nav.

Good job man
Coco.
P.S. If yi fancy recording under ma ain wee label for ma ain "band" - "Rooftop Records" (cause a make all ma records in the roof - geddit!) - yi can sign wi me! :-)

Aug 20, 2004 08:27 pm Very kool indeed. The new look is spectacular to say the least. And I love the new client list and affiliate listings, you have really stepped that site up huge. Very professional and easy to navigate as well. All very straight forward and to the point.
coco, RoofTop Record indeed. That is a great name for sure.
Aug 21, 2004 02:07 am Hey you went with a black background. I feel better about my site already. If dB is doing it, I'm doing it.
Aug 21, 2004 05:43 am dB Masters' website has ALWAYS had a balck background. It's not a web site that requires vast amounts of reading and such like HRC...you seem to be dwelling Karyn on the color thing ;-)
Like I said last time, it's all dependent on the goals and basic usage of your site. If it's a site like hRC, a local newspaper, an author sharing some of their work...stuff like that, it's more critical...little sites like my business, your music, etc, well, people are not going to spend hours a day there reading, it's a different matter entirely.

Aug 21, 2004 06:22 am I dig it. The images you used are really striking, on that black background. It's got a very clean, orderly feel to it as well.
Aug 21, 2004 06:29 am thanks TCB :-)
