soundforge plug-in issues

ok...im recording in CUBASE SX, when i open the pullout thingie for the directx plug-ins...all the effects from soundforge appear...and that makes me happy that i am able to use them within cubase, but when i try...i cant..like i run one of them say,...a reverb from soundforge on a snare track in cubase and i all i get is a distorted crappy sound...and that goes for all of the plug-ins...any idea what the conflict might be
???
