CD Burner or CD/DVD burner?

IM choosing between Dynex - 8x Internal DVD±R/±RW/CD-RW Drive ($90) or a Sony - 52x32x52 Internal CD-RW Drive ($60) im not sure which one to get, would one write more or less cds in its lifetime or about the same? Which one would be the better buy? u can check both at Bestbuy.com for a better look if u want.

Jul 25, 2004 11:32 pm IMHO, if your looking for a burner for recording your music, I would go with the SONY. They pretty much are the kings next to the higher priced Plextor burners. I have had one for three years and have had no issues at all. They even make a model that will play DVD's and burn CD's. But I have no need to burn 4.33 gigs of music personally.
