hi i would really appreciate if any of you guys can give comments on this song. it was recorded in my basement using delta 44, 24 track mixer, a condenser mic. Every thing was pluged in direct.. guitars, drums(yamaha dtx), bass.. and we used cubase, wavelab and ntrack.. thank you.

This one jams! I really felt the energy of the guitars here. Nice tones on them as well. I was kinda straining to hear the vocals so I think they could come up a bit. The kick was a little too prominent and I notice it was causing some pumping with the rest of the mix. I would also back off a little on your final limiting that should help preserve the life and punchyness of the master. Overall though I really enjoyed this. What gear did you use for guitars?

Nice melodic heavy stuff. All of what mike said is right, nice Zakky squeals too! Plus, it was without the stupid dog barking singer, which is so popular now, hes actually singing notes!!!! LOL!!!

This is a very cool song! I like the riff going on behind the verses. I like the way the guitars kick it in for the pre-chorus/chorus. Very Nirvana-esque. I would agree with the fact that the vocals should be a bit more prominent.

Overall, a very tight sounding tune!

wow thanks guys, well its true that i was having difficulties on doing the vocals.. u guys have any idea how i can make it sound more clear? oh and we used vox effects board that has amp and cabinet modeling on the rythym guitar running through a tube driven DI, then on the other guitar we used gnx3 effects board goin through my behringer vamp.. thanks again for the advice..

Hey, this is pretty heavy. The bottom end is real strong, but I like it. I would agree with Mike and say the vocals could stand to come up as well. The snares sound nice too. The guitar riff in the verses is kinda Nirvana-esque now that you mention it. Overall, good job, but give it a couple small tweaks. I like the guitar peeling rubber sound thing but it might be a tad high in the mix as well.

This is a great track. It's especially interesting to me because of the "3d" guitar textures... you've got a great combination of tones there, that really fill out the guitar part! That said - the guitars sound very close in the verse but in the chorus they're a little distant. It doesn't bring me down though. I really like the metallic (I'm referring to actual timbre, not style) hollow, ringy, flangy sound the really heavy ones have. Also good drums, great vocals, nice job all around.
