My Recording Studio Dream

Hello recording enthusiasts!

My friend and i love music. We like pretty much everything from rap to rock. This is why we decided to get jobs and get money to build a home studio. The purpose is not profit per se, but rather as a medium to meet other musicians and make friends, and of course for our personal use.

I've used n-track with my computer before and thats as much as i know about home recording. I've read most of the articles on this website as well as on the internet, and one topic which i couldnt find much info is mixing in terms of what it is and how it is done.

If you guys happened to know some details about that and home recording in general that you think i might benefit, it would be greatly appreciated!
