recording from dennon dn-x400 to computer through spdif ?????

Hello All I am A dj and I used to record all my mixes on mini disc and to cd with the pdr-555rw
well just in time for my sisters wedding my minidisc unit broke and my pdr555rw will not work. I wanted to make a pre mix so I can join the celebration!
Ok to the point one of my computers I built has spdif in and out> is it possible to use my dennon xn4000 and record strait to the hard drive
then burn with the computers cd-r ? is there a program I could get or somthing I could use to do this cause i really want to start using my computer instead of the stand alone stuff plus cheaper on cds please help me I live in a small town in nor cali and I cant just go to gutiar center or any place cause there isint one around for 500 miles or at least put me in the right direction
I could buy another minidic player but then Im limited to minidisc and I just want to do cds or mp3 cause thats what every body has. Thanks
