Well I just picked up fruity loops 3 cuz im in a trance music making stage, i got some simple beats rockin, but i wasnt sure how to make the beats have more "spaces" to put samples in.... i understand how to make the beat longer.. like "16" for the length, yet it still plays them the same speed... pretty much what im asking (i know im confusing) is i want to have the big snare build ups and other things like that... that require a lot of notes per beat... but to do that id need 16th notes 32nd notes and 64th notes.. right? or is that a special loop? if nyone can give me an insight on some tricks on the program id apprecitae i searched but didnt find too much. i used to my good old cubase. thanks in advance!

Jul 05, 2004 11:37 am in piano roll.... how do i get the little green marks to be only like have the space.. like in the included songs... the rolls are like that like only a litle bit of the space for the beat
