Jul 02, 2004 08:41 am Oh ya! The celibration is in full swing in Michigan! We did a small town last night. Outside gig. Plenty of audiance, plenty of applause, good time. Detroit started with the joint freedom festival between Windsor Candada and Detroit. Nine people shot by some guy with a vendeta. Rumer has it he missed the guy he was targeting. Plenty of guns going off all over every night. Mostly sounds like 9mm to me. Waa-Hooo! Party!

Jul 03, 2004 07:10 pm I'm going to dig up the kiddie fireworks that I put in the basement a few years ago and light them tomorrow night. That's about the extent of my firepower. Other than that, I bought a giant cigar that I'm going to sit outside and smoke, and maybe fire up the grill for some BBQ. How bad could it be?

Personaly, I see that no worse than the hillbilly mafia here, but she seems to be happy. Don't ya just love the twin cities? To the west six square miles surounded by reality, to the east the last hold out of the eternal heehaw!
