Guitar tone

Has anyone ever watched the show "Mission Hill" on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim? I'm trying to figure out how they get the lead guitar tone in the theme song. It almost sounds to me like they just took a cheap 15 watt practice amp and cranked it. Any thoughts?
