Cut & Paste program

Hi,

Now my computer is up and running - I was looking for a cut & paste program to assemble bass and drum tracks (country style) in a fast manner so I can use this as a platform to record my real instruments - does such a thing exist?

I know of Acidpro is this more bias towards house type music I know they do a country program in this series - has anyone heard it and can you build a complete song from it? Bit in the dark about this.

Any ideas anyone - midi based or audio!!

Thanks

Vikki

FruityLoops!

service.bfast.com/bfast/c...mp;bfmtype=gear

You can mix and match audio samples of your choice into any arrangment of any style...it's the greatest!

yes I agree with DB here, fruity loops is one of the best sequencers out there, it supports VST, and other virtual instraments, has tons of good samples and loops to use. If you really want to you can make a complete song (excluding vocals) in fruity loops with relative ease. And at around 100 dollars it's a great buy. go to www.fruityloops.com and download the demo, and then buy it from Musicians Friend if you like it to help support the site.

Vikki,
If your price range is limited you ought to buy Cakewalk's Home Studio 2000 ($79.00). It'll do everything you want and then some :-)

Art
P.S. I have Fruity Loops too. It's GREAT but Home Studio's (or Sonar) interface is easier to cut and paste with.

lord yes can acid arrange. i will support that app (and fruityloops) until i die.

dont let acids name give any false impressions, it can and will do whatever you put into it =)

i use acid pro (4 now *grin*) for all my track arranging and for recording my vocals. and i use fruityloops to do all my drum and synth programming.

my tracks are in the members music section (electronic) and can give some idea of both programs power.
