I keep having this annoying problem with my new echo mia soundcard which i otherwise love. when i use a program with allot of graphics specifically a website with java or flash graphics or a program with visualizations like media player i get this annoying cleping out and static sound, whats the freakin deal here???? Also just for some clarification, would I be right in assuming that, that the digital ins and outs are only for digital devices, in other words I cant hook up my rane dj mixer to them???

thank you so much in advance, thank god for forums!!!

I own a Echo MIA and never had a problem such as yours, and I run a Pentium 2. Typically what I do is I separate my sounds. My original factory soundcard is still operable. So therefore I still use it with my PC speakers for web browsing, mp3 listening and such. But my monitors and, all my recording gear runs through the Echo. I have never had any problems with mine so far, except for a humm which I traced the interference to the new flat panel monitor I got. As for the digital ins and outs. You are correct. I just posted the same question today and that's what basically was told. Check my post in the home recording subject within the forum. But the MIA has the balanced TRS jacks in it. That's what I utilize and it's worked well for me. Good Luck, I hope this helps.
