Hi,
I am having real problems with turning midi into wav files. I'm using Cubase VST and my soundcard is a Tascam US122. Using Windows XP as well (don't know what other info might be helpful)
I've tried to plough through the manual but really need a dummy's guide for it.
Any help will be very welcome.
Thanks
a.t.

Jun 07, 2004 08:07 am once youve made them, cant ya just export from the 'file' menu to wavs - if im understanding you correctly...
Jun 07, 2004 08:52 am I thought you could export audio which only picks up the wav files and converts them into a single file.
You can export midi as midi but for it won't let me export midi to wav files.!!

Jun 07, 2004 09:52 am it should pick up the midi too when you export - try muting all the wavs and export just the midi tracks, see what that does...
Jun 07, 2004 01:53 pm flame,
I've tried that and it doesn't pick up the midi!
thanks for the help though.

Jun 07, 2004 03:24 pm Do you have a MIDI instrument selected for the MIDI you've recorded or do you only have MIDI data without sound?

Jun 07, 2004 03:46 pm Ive had that problem, solo the track with the midi data, arm an empty track and set your sound card controls to record What you hear, or all, or playback. whatever the setting might be. you basicly have to record the output of the soundcard onto an empty audio track
