Anyone know of a good VST plug-in that allows me to give my sound a "warmer" quality? I downloaded the PSP Vintage Warmer demo, but this thing is expensive! Good, but pricey!

Jun 02, 2004 05:29 pm There's a little free VST I occationally use that's called X-citer. I don't know where you would go about finding it though :(
I got it from somebody who gave me a CD of a bunch of free plug-ins. It must be on the internet somewhere, maybe try a search.
I'm sure it doesn't compare to VintageWarmer!

Jun 05, 2004 04:20 pm This site has them ALL! All the best free and demo versions of EVERY plugin known to man (almost!). Check this link:

I hunted thru and downloaded hundreds of free plugins.
If you cant find one here..you wont find one anywhere!! For the record..I got a few as you need here but I cant mind which ones they are (I also have Sound Forge which takes care of a lot of the needs I have) but check it out...
Goodluck...

the blockfish compressor plugin and the endorphin pseudo-mastering plugin both have "drive" controls which add the "warmth" sound, and they are both free. helps a lot.
