which means you need some sort of amplifier to power them
If they're active the power themself
but I think your's are passive

Help – Speaker problems
I was given two very old speakers the other day I think they are home made. But the have no main power and when I go to play them through my mixer the don’t work. Any ideas why ??? I’m not very good with electronics etc…
Any help would be wicked.
PS I have split the cable into a RCA cable so it can go into my rec. in on my mixer.
