Playstation and music creation

Hey there everyone, u know when i was kid.. .and i guess now to... PS and PS2 had this music creation game that was MAD easy to use adn fun as hell. it had great sounds on it and i found sooooo easy to put together a song on. is there anything like that for PC? coz even though that was a game, i did make some music i enjoyed from it. adn the pro stuff well its too... PRO u know? any ideas?

try and find ejay, thats a very similar kinda thing to the music2000 or whatever it way called on playstation...

'making waves' was the first PC music program i was exposed to, years ago. it uses the general midi sounds, and you just write music by filling in a grid. it was a simple little program, and fun.
