Okay, we've just finished the new site at Pith Records (www.pithrecords.com), we're trying to do as much as we can for smaller indie bands....
One of the things we're doing is a 'Bands Showcase', where we'll be biggin up a new band every month or so...
Every band that gets showcased is going to get something neat, like a spot in a good gig somewhere (if they're a melbourne band), reviews/interviews on the Pith site - and of course a bunch of promo by being the showcased band! :P
So yeah, head down there and say "me! me! me! me!" for your band.
We don't give a dof what genre your band is, or where you come from, it's all good....
Rock, metal, funk, acapella, neuvo Jazz - it don't matter!! :D
The plan is to record one song from each band we showcase and at the end of a year release a compilation CD through Pith, sell it online through our store, sell it at gigs, give it away...
More small indie bands need to have their stuff shown off!!!!

May 21, 2004 12:34 pm What about if one is not a band, say just one lone dude sitting in his basement that makes song whilst trying to manage a web site to help the very people you are trying to help?
