Blue Bottle Mics

Hey everyone. I was just researching equipment, and I wanted t know if any one had any opinions one the BLUE baby bottle mics. They look pretty nice, and from what I've heard so far, provide a nice deep end for your voice without compromising the details and the cadence. Anybody ever tried these mics before?

I have no experience with this mic. But there are some reviews of it. Here's one from Pro Audio Review: www.bluemic.com/products/...s/April1999.doc

I tried one up against the neumann tlm 103 I ended up purchasing at a local guitar center. But the problem was that there was so much noise in the store I couldn't hear either one very well. And then the sales guy was trying to pressure me to buy it, so I bolted. So, I guess, unfortunately, I don't really know if it sounds good or not, but the GC folks were trying to push it on me, and from my perspective, that's a sure way for me to come to the conclusion that I don't want it. Have I ever mentioned that I really don't like GC sales people.

Maybe GC has a larger profit margin on them? Just a thought.
