EQ help needed

I am new to recording, just started last summer, and I am now currently enrolled in a recording arts program. We have just gotten into eq and I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that would have some good diagrams explaining eq and how it works. Thanks in advance.

Sep 27, 2002 05:14 am I don't know about any websites, but the concept of an EQ is very simple. George wrote a good article for us a while back:

Out side of that the EQ is simple, raise a frequency, it makes that frequency range louder, lower it it makes it softer...what exactly are you looking for?
