Using Ketron SD1 keyboard with Cubasis VST 3

I am just setting up my recording equipment I have a Ketron SD1 keyboard (arranger style) in conjunction with Cubasis VST 3. What I am trying to do is record the backing arrangements in the keyboard into the computer so that I can edit them on the computer and use them in my recording. When I play a drum pattern from the keyboard back through the computer and back to the keyboard (local off), the wrong percussion instruments are being played back by the keyboard. Is this something in Cubasis which is altering the note information or is my keyboard sending some sort of code to the computer. I have tried transposing the keyboard, etc., to no avail. Perhaps this arrangement does not work - please advise. Any help would be appreciated.

It sound's like the computer (cubasis) is telling the keyboard to to use a differant drum patch all together. I am sure your keyboard has several differant drum settup's, These are selected via the patch and bank you choose. You need to assign the correct bank and patch in Cubasis. I am guessing you will have to just use generic patch name's as the Ketron is probably not listed in Cubasis. A good place to start is if you know the patch number of the drum kit id: 27 or whatever use that and go up or down from there. If that does not do it, then proceed to assigning a bank number starting at 0 and going up from there.

Good Luck and let me know if you need a better discription.
