Be wary, new internet worm in the wild...

A new worm is spreading around the internet you should be aware of. Go to the Windows Update site and download the latest critical updates. In addition, if you have a firewall (and you should) make sure you have port 443 locked down from incoming requests. Port 443 is the port SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is generally transmitted on, which is what secure connections for things such as online stores and such.

This is a credible and dangerous threat regarding Microsoft Security Update MS04-011

oh, yeah, I shoulda mentioned their free one, sorry. It's a very cool, easy to use firewall, and rated as one of the best for home users. I used it before I installed my hardware firewall.

Virus, spyware, malward and other sorts of scumware from loser people like CoolWebSearch and others are starting to get bad these days...thanks to good folks like Mike and his staff at spywarewareinfo.com we have a place to go to get help with this kind of crap.

Well, then yougo to spywareinfo.com and search for a file called "CWShredder.exe" (search their forums, they'll be links) cuz it's not really a virus as much as a spyware install...
