www.ibizcorp.com/ The first virtual keyboard is on it's way to it's US warehouse ready for shipping backorders. If any of you use PDA's and such, it may be of interest to you. Last I heard it had cleared Israeli customs and was bound for LAX to await US customs then to Phoenix to it's warehouse for shipment to customers.
Just thought some of you may be interested in this little toy.

Apr 23, 2004 09:51 am Cool. Hope they make a piano one soon. Would be good for portable midi. And you could even play the piano on the bar during one of your gigs. Or on the wall. Or on some naked person (I am being PC) on stage. Infinte options!
Apr 23, 2004 09:54 am If anyone plays stocks, this might just be a good short term investment for just a few days after the initial shipment is announced...
At least I hope it is cuz I have thousands of shares right now...

Apr 23, 2004 05:51 pm I dont know about this thing. As it looks kind of cool, I doubt I'd ever use one. I need to hear and feel the keys getting pressed, but I guess for PDAs, it'd be a good investment as PDA keyboards aren't exactly ideal and comfortable. We'll see how it does.
Apr 23, 2004 06:14 pm It's already done well in pre-orders and they aren't even here yet (or they have not announced it anyway). I personally like to feel keys and such to, but if I was a travels salesperson or something of that nature and didn't want to lug around a keyboard doo-hicky this is a great alternative. No doubt it would take some serious getting used to tho.
I have 149,000 shares that says it'll do great! :-) And already is up about 18% from where I bought them at in the beginning of the week, and that is just from the buzz of the shipment, not any actual news.
Buy on buzz, sell on news...

Apr 29, 2004 09:42 pm Typing speed is ot real fast but I would geuss fast enough. They say it isnt as fast because of the response between the laser and the camera that pick up the reflectionoff your finger tips. But I would guess its gotta be a whole lot faster then the alternatives right now.
And Loki, the response time of the keys would be to great a lag for use as a music keyboard. But maybe technology will fix that some day as well.
