Hello, is there anyone on this forum using or used Tascam us-122? if so, please give me your honest opinon on it's performance. I'm thinking of purchasing one, but I'd like to get some feed back from someone who uses it. Presantly I'm using the Roland UA-100G and I haven't had any problems with it, just that I want to to do some 24bits demo recording, and the UA-100 is 16bits, if you understand what I mean. Fred

Apr 20, 2004 09:09 pm The 122 has had some previous driver issues, but I believe any bugs have been fixed. As far as audio quality the Tascam unit is not going to give you any noticable differance in quality. But the Tascam is a fairly reliable unit from what I have seen so far. It really hasnt been round long enough to be endurance tested by anyone I know yet.

Apr 20, 2004 09:18 pm thanks for that tip. After reading up on quite a few audio/midi interfaces, I think I'll settle for the "M-Audio omni studio usb".

Apr 21, 2004 05:19 am I have the US-122 and it is quite good. Had a bit of a problem installing it in the beginning, but now it is running great and has good sound. Since I am still waiting for some other equipment though I cant give you the full picture.
