I'm pretty new around here, but I've been checking out as much music as I can. I like the songs, good lyrics and vocals. Also the feeling is pretty good. The biggest problem I heart is in the mix itself. The whole thing sounds a bit muddy, and the drums are pretty low. I don't like all the buzzing guitars, I like a cleaner, fatter sound - buts that's just personal taste. Good stuff.

yeah, these were demos recorded pretty quick to met a deadline for epic. the guitars were done direct and they just don't sound as thick as being mic'ed, of course i hadn't spent much time dialing in tone. i just wanted to hear what people think about what you touched on like feel, vocals, music... you know. thanks for listening!

I listened at low volume tonight, will give a bit louder listen tommorrow. I liked em so far, and the guitars seem to fit the tunes, maybe a little crisp but it still sounds pretty good as the bass fills in a good amount of the lower end.

Thanks alot guys! The album is really sounding great so far. We've got guitars and drums done, most of the bass will be redone since the bassist got a new rig and wants to use it for the album.

I can't wait to get the finished product! It's has been so long of a process of writing, preproduction, and now tracking. The biggest pain is the artwork for the album/website... none of us really do it and coming up with ideas that are as polished as the music will be is pretty stressfull.
