way to go man. i remember the feeling of acing my final two match courses after a lifetime of barely scraping by in math. it feels great! you have WON.

as a side note, i have found that i've needed to use algebra two separate times this week, thus putting the whole 'when are we ever gonna need this' excuse to bed. two times...and that's not counting the times i needed it for fruityloops.

what is your current program?

It's a generic Associate of Arts program at Columbus State Community College...heavily focused on Psychology... I'll probably be transferring to Capital University $$$ for Video Production after I graduate.

... and it was weird understanding trigonometry and conics for the first time... and parabolia/functions only made sense my prior quarter...which was summer quarted because i was in cold wintery hell...err... I mean Minnessota autum quarter defending the mall of america for the army.

....but thats what I get when my high school math teacher got his degree in phys. ed. :P

And cool on the math thing as well. I remember wondering when I would ever use trig. then I became a machinist. Duh, who woulda thought trig would come in handy.

Yeah, turned out I became a carpenter/ contractor, so I use geometry and algebra ALL DAY LONG. Nothing but angles and Pythagoras for me, not to mention forecasting and statistics....

One of the funnest parts of my 8 year career as a machinist was all the trig and geometry...andya, about then I kinda wished I would have paid more attention in high school. But hey, when I graduated I was only 2.4 points away from a perfect 4.0! :-)
