my condenser mic broke down a few hours ago
don't know why... no more warranty left either...
now I'll just have to wait till I get the money for another one... argh...

It may be something simple or not. Some studios in your area may take a look at it for you. It wouldn't hurt to call and see how much it would cost just to have them take a look at it.

My sincerest condolences Mr. Presley! I truely hates it when my mic takes a dump. I just had an equalizing panel go to the great scratch, dent, and fried center in the sky. Not a big shock though. He was old and went of natural causes. Sorry again!

The cirquit is fairly simple in the B-1, you might just take a crack at looking inside and checking a few componants out yourself and see what you can find. I have repaired my CAD a couple of times as it is layed out nicely for easy work. If it is like most Behringer gear it should have simple schematic in the owners manual and all the values of the componants should be listed.

But anyway, if it isnt repairable, give it a decent burial.
