Have you guys ever used and gotton decent results from this software by Antares? Its the Antares Mic Modular. For those that are not familiar with it, basically it mimics the recordings of A LOT of mics as if you actually recorded using those mics. I've gotton the software right now and will be playing with it. Wondering if there are others out there that have tried this software out in actuality.

Cheers! Oh and from the looks of it, bad-*** plugin! I use their Tube plugin all the time on vocals...

Yeah, I have worked with it. It's pretty cool, but not as cool as the real mics...

fortymile - it does enhance your recordings. I tested them on vocals as that is the only purpose I'd be using the mic modular for if needed. Again nothing beats the "real" thing; but this plugin kicks *** nonetheless...

Yep, I use it and vocals is its only real good use. I tried it on guitar tracks and came up with rubbish. It might be OK as well on drums, but havent been able to try that as yet. Otherwise, i use it when it is necassary, not an everyday gotta have it type pluggin.

I had it in a rack mount unit. I sent it back and got a refund. It wasn't bad sounding, but it just wasn't helpful to me.
