My modem is having a hard time streaming those songs... any chance you could enable the download mp3 feature on nowwhere radio? I'd be glad to check those out then. Thanks.

Hey, what's up J.
Listening on lofi, it seems like the snares on both songs and especially on black roses are a bit pronounced (could be the lofi though). But other than that, I think they sound really good. Good to see you 'round again.

Overall a very good job. The only problem as to what I'm hearing is a lack of bottom end. I gave a boost to 40HZ (1db),60HZ (4db), 125HZ (4db), & 250HZ (1db) in WMP, and that does it for me, ymmv. :)

ok, I checked out the songs... I heard some stuff I liked and some stuff I didn't really get into. I'm not really nuts about the genre of music that "2 Wheeled Astronaut" falls into - that's my fault, not yours. The song sounded ok to me. The other one, "Black Roses" was a cool tune that I could get into. I debated on whether to add this next comment or not but I finally decided that if you can't get honest feedback from other musicians, then where will you get it from? The "Black Roses" title is a little cliched for me - sorry man. There are a lot of Black Roses out there. But the song itself is good, it's interesting and catchy, and the title doesn't detract from the coolness of the song itself; it's just like a somewhat average preview for a really cool movie. I thought the vocals were excellent, and the musicianship in the instrumental tracks was also excellent. Also, the overall style of that song appealed to me.

Overall - I would say very good job, and definitely keep it up.

This is exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Hey dB and anyone else who hasn't reviewed this, can you give me your take on these PM me or just post it on here I would really appreciate it. I am making a Document with all the review stuff on it for my Band mates. The other guys in the band Don't get online much so I am sending them the inputs I get on our songs. They aren't members here yet but they will be.

Thanks Guys,

Great stuff here. A bit outside of my normal listening material, but I can tell that you all are tight. The performances are solid and the songwriting is great.

On Black Roses, the guitars and bass are a bit quiet in relation to the other things in the mix. I'm not sure if that means that the drums/vocals are too loud or if the guitars/bass need to come up. It could just be me tho since nobody else seemed to think so :)

How are you tracking the guitars? They seem just a tad "small" for this genre of music. yeah, how's that for a vague suggestion? hehe. I guess I mean that I expected to hear a bit more "chunk" to them. Of course, I really have no advice on achieving this since those songs blow away anything that I could produce!

keep up the good work

Tadpui, Thanks and I can't take credit for the Mixing and Mastering.

I think the reason that some people might hear the Drums a little bit more is beccause..... The Guy doing the mixing and mastering is the Drummer for our band. LOL.

ok, well I'm glad you're not pissed at my comments... :) some people might get really defensive, but it sounded like you genuinely wanted to know what we thought. Again, cool music, man.
