AKAI S3000XL

Got an Akai 3000XL today off ebay(got it in the mail today) and was looking through the manual, and it is telling you about the uses of all the different plugs in the back. At the end of the secontion it says the S3000XL can be connected to a macintosh. Does that mean i can't connect it to my PC for editing the samples?

The Akai can be connected to either a PC or Mac. It also has good midi control.
