Can anyone get me a few seconds of sample sound of an audio tape being fast-forwarded? Not the mechanism itself, but the high speed squeal of the audio signal on tape being fast-forwarded. (you get this by hitting play and FF at the same time, on most cassette tape players.)
Much thanks if anyone can help!

why not just take any song you have mixed down to two track and super-speed it up...and let the pitch shifting happen if you app allows it.

Dunno what app you use, but most editors have time-stretching features built in.

If CEP2 doesnt do it let me know. My two track mixdown deck is great for that stuff, and the squeel is very musical at that.
