Dec 14, 2003 07:54 am My best friend, who happens to be in the reserves, is being shipped out to Iraq next month. His fiance is 8 months pregnant. Hopefully this capture will help things to get settled in Iraq a little faster so he can come home soon.

Dec 17, 2003 07:45 pm i heard about the news as it broke. it was 4:30 AM and i was stuffing my face with a cheeseburger. the indian dude with the british accent says 'and now for what could be momentous news' and i knew it was going to be either saddam or osama.
they say that people remember where they were and what they were doing when history breaks. so far, my personal historical overlay is just a huge farce. i'm always doing something ridiculous when big news breaks.
