...lofi or demo recording?

i think theres some real gems of rough demo or unfinished tunes that havent seemed half as good with all the studio stuff piled up on the top of them...

im looking forward to hearing Damon Albarns demos album he's just put out...if i can ever get a copy...

also Ryan Adam's 'Demolition' is a brilliant set of works-in-progress, and also Paul McCartney's 'McCartney'

anything else i should check out?

Trampled by Lambs and Pecked by the Doves, by Trey Anastasio (the guitarist/singer from Phish) and Tom Marshall (the lyricist for many Phish tunes, from what I gather)

It's amazing to hear this if one is familiar with Phish's later works, since these are the "sketches" for many of their songs.

Oh ya, Ziggy Stardust. I think I may hae an import of the acuastic one your taling about on vinyl. I believe there was video of it as well. And yes he is off a bit, but did create tons of great music.
