i guess a lot of you will know this, but i didnt , so i thought id share it...

if youve got HRC saved in your favourites, you can set it up so a specific key on the keyboard will automatically take you to hrc, without touching anything else - cool huh?

go into your favourites, find HRC and left click. now, click properties at the bottom of the menu.

now, in the case of XP at least, you wanna pick the
'web document' tab. this will bring up a tab with the web address and a shortcut key box. simply click inside of the white box and then press whatever key you want to make your 'HRC key'

now, be sensible guys, dont go using the 'e' key or the spacebar, use on of the function keys or smoething. i picked F1.

hope ya find this useful!

i never used those before, but i *do* like to put custom icons to each one though

but i'm still confortable typing in the URL each time. IE remembers it so all i have to do is type "homer" and the rest comes up :O)

interesting, I tried to do that in my browser (neoplanet) and I didn't get the properties screen, must not be in this browser.

I used NeoPlanet a long time ago, but they have been at version 5.2 for about 3 years now...they have never added multiple windows or any features like that which are now commonplace. That tells me that the dedication to that project is minimal.

for some odd reason I like this browser better than the regular IE browser... it suits my needs I suppose.
And you can have multiple windos open in the same browser, they just have to be in your channels and then you get tabs up at the top to click and it brings up that page.

Well, it may be better than the regular IE, most browser are these days...but my only point was that NeoPlanet is about as far behind the times as IE.

Oh, and FYI, NeoPlanet, like many other browsers, still use IE's rendering engine, it's just a different front end.

yeah but I don't really know much or care about the engine and stuff like that, all I care about is an easy to use browser that looks somewhat cool. Neoplanets browser does both for me. Although that MYIE2 looks pretty cool... too sterile though, can you customize the skin?

Yes, there are A LOT of skins available for MyIE2...and plugins to do all kinds of cool stuff too.
