Enough mics for drums?

Hey all, if I were to mic a drum set, can I get away with using a mic on the snare, between the toms, on the kick, and one for the overheads?

The snare/toms would be two sm57's and the overhead would be a R0DE NT-1A. The kick, well I am thinking either a shure beta 52 or akg d112.

phase issues or anything else? this is a small drumset.

should be fine, I have mic'd several drum kits in just that same fashion and had decent results.

Yeah, that will give you good flexibility on mixdown.

the drums on the white stripes' 'elephant' were recorded with 2 mics...and they seem to be doing alright!
