Oct 14, 2003 02:03 pm It probably just has to do with the EQ. Are you using any EQ? You'll need to if you plan on getting any sort of an acceptable sound on any of the drumset, in my opinion. Of course, it could be the fault of the cymbals as well. Basically, cut out a lot of the mids and lows on cymbals. I can't give you any specifics really (It all depends on many factors), you'll just have to try out some different things.

Oct 14, 2003 04:49 pm Haha... Well, I've used B8's before-- actually, alot, and I'm quite impressed with them for the money. They sound much more crisp and transparent than the really crappy Zildjian ZBT's that I have to use at home for the time being, and with the right eq I can get even those cymbals to sound pretty close to something you'd hear on a pro CD (Mind you, the cymbals are really old and beat up, too). The B8's sound 10x better (If they're new, at least), and he's talking about B8 PRO's, keep in mind :)
