Tom tom sample sound fake?

i using fruity loops to generate my drum loops evrything sound ok coz i usin some external sample but the onli thing tht realy sound suck is my tom tom ..any technique or recomended sample?

Sep 29, 2003 06:39 am Scoop out some midrange (around 700Hz, open Q) and add a small amount of reverb (don't over-do it).

Sep 29, 2003 11:14 am heres some samples...a whole kit in fact. or, if ya find a drum loop or anything with a cool tom sound in, let me at it and ill pull out the tom sound for ya if possible, if youre not happy doing it yourself.

Sep 29, 2003 01:52 pm wen i first got into this stuff i scoured the net for drum samples. i now have a good sized collection of drums hits and synths stabs and pads and everything else to show for it.
