Oh wow! Yes, looks like a great deal! I should buy one too, but I am broke at the moment. It's not the greatest condenser in the world, obviously, but many people here recommend it for it's price.

what a deal. it's the only condenser i've got, but it's very flattereing on my Yamaha acoustics and even my somewhat-lacking voice. I don't think you'll find a better deal than that (and it comes with shockmount too! grrr)

Yep, that's what we're talking about too. Anyways, don't listen to those user ratings for very reliable information. Anyone can go in there and put down all 0's for a score and never have used the thing. Again, I doubt it's an incredible condenser, but it should be better than any normal dynamic mic, and a lot of people here like it.

If you are concerned about quality then just pay the extra few bucks and get a Rode NT-1a. Quality that you can be assured of.

jues.

I love my 319. It is very flattering to deeper male voices, and adds some great warmth to acoustics, even some surprisingly beautiful sounds from a grand piano. At the beginning it will just sound kinda nicer to you if you're only used to crappy dynamic mics, but as time goes on it gets better and better. Look for Mk-012's, too. They're great.
