Walking in late september. Didnt come out too bad- i listend this morning and heard some drum work that needs to be added and a re-doo of the vocals- i am pleased with the "feel and sound" of the vocals, its just my voice im annoyed with.
tell me what you think

Gave it a listen and I like what I heard :)

As matter of personal taste I'd like to see the melody line of the guitar that plays thru the song, have a little more bite to it or less mid.

Real nice job on the mix.

old dog, you mean the rythm guitar? or the floaty lead thing. and ya tonight im going in with 6 beers and redo the vocals and finish the drums up. theres one vocal part that just gets on my nerves.... the word "in", it should have been "inside" old dog, if i take some mid out of the rythm wont it sound hollow?
thanks for the words, talk at ya later

The floaty lead thing. Alot of it is about right but parts of it (like the higher notes) get a little weak and muddy sounding. Kind of like not recorded with enough signal strength. Just needs a little "zing" to it to make it sing :)

Boy this stuff is hard to put into words <g>

hahahah, i know what you mean. well last night i ended up working on cleaning up another tune. i posted it at my site- i dont think that nowhere is ready for this little slice of ...........
its a piano tune- i have really no clue how to play a piano. i suppose you get what you pay for.
check it out- and flame, you might like this one... members.cox.net/tonyd1970
goto the music page for the song... someplace near the top. called 100&30. good writing i must say, bad everything else but i like it.
while youre there- and this is a must.. check out the lego videos on the first page. its been a while since ive mentioned those, but theyre great!
db once said "music shumsic, that video rocked"
doesnt get much better than that.

Show me to the beer....

tony, that song kinda reminds of Bruce Springsteen, in style & vocal. I liked it as well as a few others I Listened too. You kind of remind me of a cross between a mellow Bruce Springsteen & Neil Young. Good stuff. :)

ok ok , i just finished adding and changing the song. Man, you guys really changed how good the song was. (walkin in late sept) i just finished with iq, volume, and compression changes. so pls give it a listen again. its up at nowhere,
walking in latesept 2.0. i think that you guys made a world of diff. as does crash. pls give a listen,
heres what i did
increase compression on drums
increase comp on lead guitar
add slight delay on guitar lead
add drum crashes where there supposed to be

as a full song i think its the best ive done

man i sound like flame!
hahah,i just relized i typed iq -which mine must be low.....
