What's the point of keeping it in a car?

You know...I have a friend that is a little like them...he buy's equipment that he doesn't need... he has no real use for any of it. Hey, it must be nice to have money like that to blow. And to think..I was worried that I spent to much on my speakers!

I ready that a few weeks back and thought exactly the same thing. All that time and money invested just to generate a really loud hum! Seems like a pretty big waste to me!

Yeah, I know some people like that too. They buy big mixers and stuff, but I can't figure out why. They don't have a studio or anything...

Some people just like to have "bragging rights"...and Muffins, not only is it in a car, but it's in a car that isn't drivable cuz the gear is too heavy...even LESS of a point to it then.

Yes indeed. My oldest son and his buddies are into that stuff though. Not quite at that level, but still loud and expensive none the less. And yes indeed, it does seem like a real waste of money if ya cant even listen to the new mentalica CD on it.

I read that article last month. The more I read on, the more my jaw dropped.
I'm glad I have a life.

i stumbled across this this morning. it reminds me of that band in the hitchhiker's guide books. the band that was so loud that they had to play from a spaceship in orbit by remote control so they wouldn't be killed.

my cousin runs max power magazine in the uk, a mag for streetracers etc, very fast and furious. personally, i think they're a wee bit idiotic, but then that's just my opinion.

everyone's gotta have a hobby, and that's his.

we get a lot of 'spin boys' in souped up jap cars and huge ICE where i live, but they don't drink, they don't smoke, their cars their 'thing'.

and you can get a fair wedge of cash for winning some of the comps.

still, i'd like to put my tunes in it and tow it around, broadcast to the masses!!
