So after downloading all of those drumsounds from
ns_kits I decided to use this softsynth (2-DR-008 DXi2) to put the sounds in... BUT how do I know which "key" (c, c#, c2, c#2, etc etc...) It's going to hit and which sound should be on that particular "key" when I link it to the midi drumfile
You guys still getting me?:D
hope you understand..:S

Jun 27, 2003 08:49 am Ya, I know what ya mean, but have no idea how to do it...I am assumning it's the DXi from inside Sonar (thats what you use, right?) I know how to use their predefined kits but not make new ones...sorry.
FYI, Project 5 comes with "Velocity"...the butt-kickinest software drum machine I have ever heard. And since Project 5 is from Cakewalk it fits in to SOnar beautifully as any other DXI plus it's a standalong app that is Velocity and a bunch of other softsynths that are superb.
Jun 27, 2003 08:57 am Is there a demo version of that Project 5 availeble somewhere?
Jun 27, 2003 08:57 am I dunno, go to Cakewalk.com and check...
