Well its been awhile since I have had time for my own music but here is the first tune using project 5 and Sonar together. Its in Instrumental and its called gotta. Let me know what ya think. And for those of you who are not familiar with Project 5, it is Cakewalks addition to compete with Acid and then some. It is really a loop based addition to Sonar and houses various synths and the like. It is a joy to use and intgrates via Rewire right into Sonar so they work as one complete studio locked together. Have a listen and let me know what ya think.

Peace

link? hehe. I just listened to "gotta" and i gotta say "sweeet". Nice luscious tones everywhere. I like how the real guitar and bass tracks add a jazzy rockin vibe to an otherwise electronic sound. I'm feeling hints of Pink Floyd, but I can't place why.

Is this a finished work? If so it's a nice chill piece to play while entertaining guests. It feels like 8 o'clock at night. summertime. suns going down, the night's just beginning. I can't help but think this could be the sountrack to a police movie. Maybe something you'd hear on an episode of Nash Bridges. I see fast cars sliding down the streets of Miami.

The whole thing is kinda slow to develop. That just adds to the calm excitment (is there such a thing?) of it all. Very professional sounding! This is one of the best home-studio productions I've heard since I started listening to the underground artists around here. I'll probably have more questions as it rotates through my winamp playlist over the next couple of days.

Nice work, I envy your skill. -j
