Jun 03, 2003 01:38 pm this is crying out for a real heavy drum and distorted guitar part to kick in over the top of whats there now...or add some ambient noises and make it real simple chill out type music...or some acoustic guitars and make it into a sixties style instrumental
dunno really...just a few ideas!
Jun 03, 2003 02:02 pm you obviously didnt listen to the rest of the track man! second half is where it all comes together.

Jun 03, 2003 03:19 pm bloody hell...cool! thats a lesson to me not to stop listening if the kick doesnt come quick enough for me.
Jun 03, 2003 08:59 pm :) so flame... what does it need? i mean. ive added vocals to the solo guitar verse part in the enlogated intro. and a solo in the bridge. im going to put a nice mono synth part overtop the whole thing too i think. well at least the last half. i love how noone reads my posts on this thing. haha.

Jun 04, 2003 04:04 am i read your posts...bear in mind theres not a huge throughflow of members on here all the time so it can take a while for people to pick up on what youve done.
anyhow, id say that adding something to the opening coulpe of minutes to pad it out a little would help no end...its not bad, but personally i think it could use a bit more to keep the interest up. ermmmm, dunno what else...i was all up for remixing just the opening part, havent got to grips with the heavy bit yet!

Jun 05, 2003 08:53 pm I read all the post MKF, but as of this week I am very short of time. I will give it a listen and post alter. I did take a quick listen, and I may be wrong here, but didnt you post this tune a while back with a differant name?
Jun 06, 2003 12:42 am nope. i just started recording stuff man. well for my project at least. ive been recording bigger local bands in philly for the last few months.
Jun 06, 2003 04:53 am Well, it is in serious need of some maximizing and consistancy in the percieved volume. The kick is too loud in the mix. Other than that, it's a decent rock tune.
I agree with flame, the intro needs something else, dunno what, maybe the synth you mention would do the trick, maybe a very simple kick drum beat as well...
