Murphy
An outburst for perfection
Member Since: Dec 11, 2002
I'm just about ready to do some serious mixing and was wanting a few opinions on this mix.
It's not a song, it's basically just me doing a trial mix, playing along to a few chords and seeing what mixing results I get before starting to record anything that I want to keep.
(testing1-2-1-2) is the file name

Cheers.

Jun 04, 2003 09:25 pm Murphy, that was the trippiest thing I have heard in a long time. I love the relentless wah goin on there. I think I almost saw some paisleys coming out of the walls in here. :-) The mix sounded just fine listeing at low level tonight. I will give it another listen at volume tommorrow and let ya know. But like I said, love the tune, and would like to hear a finished version of it.
Peace

Cheers guys, thanks for listening.
That was recorded with a Soundblaster and without a mixer going through.
Also my nasty fender squire bass was buzzing and screaming, it has no tone controls and had to be kept at a low volume, so If the bass doesn't sound clear or punchy enough that's why!
Thanks again.
P.S I did a one with vocals (Pc mic ouch!) as well, I'll stick it up

Jun 05, 2003 12:23 pm A few more up now, The same track, one with vocals and without wah and another which was the original mix.
Them £3 Pc mic's come in handy sometimes!!!
I'll try and get some full versions up soon, it takes forever with this connection!
