My new MarkBass head and random cabinet

I have yet to find the final speaker cab, but right now the MarkBass head is rockin' it thru 2 10" subwoofers I had laying around...surprisingly good sound out of it, and the MarkBass kills it! Played a couple pretty decent sized venues with it and the direct out is clean, stage sound from the amp is strong...good stuff!

Nice! Looks like fun. How are the cabs wired? Have you tried mic'ing them yet?

The two cabs, for the time being I created a funky little wire that wires them together in serial to keep a lower ohm rating from it.

I have never miked it as yet, since the head has a direct out, and the direct out is really nice.

At some point I want to get a 2x10 MarkBass cabinet, but, until I get the money set aside for it, these are gonna work pretty well. I may, however, build a cabinet so I can have the speakers in one cab, for ease of loading.

After comparing the two, I decided to go with the Traveller 1x15 with a horn. Sounded much better, and bigger...and still maintains the clarity that I liked in the 2x10.

Blam!
