Audition 3.0 transfer

I have Adobe Audition 3.0 recording software downloaded on my current laptop. How do I "transfer" this current software onto a new laptop computer without having to purchase and download another from Adobe?

Thanks for your help.

If your current version is licensed, you should have the CD, or access to download it again and have an authorization key already...where is the problem?

Thanks for your response. It's not license and I do not have a CD with it on. I do have a serial number but that's it....so I will look into further if that's the authorization key you are referring to.

So, am I to understand you are using an illegal version version of the app since you don't have any of that?

If that is the case, I suggest you not, and go look at Reaper...it's not free, it's nagware, but, it's great, and even buying it is only $60 for a personal license. Great deal for what it is.

I have had no one advising me throughout this process so have been trying to figure all this stuff out on my own. I was not aware I needed to have my software licensed. Thanks for your help. I greatly appreciate it.
