This is some pretty interesting stuff, especially for us 'digital age' recording artists, producers, etc.

Anyone whose fairly new to DAW recording wouldn't know that in the past signal chains and actual hardware had an impact on the sound throughout the signal path as a whole.

I know that I myself had no idea until I started going to school that there was any difference between full blown pro tools HD3 and Sonar 8 Producer.

The differences are, though subtle, inevitably relevant.

I will always use Sonar. I haven't gotten my hands on X1 or x2 yet, I guess I'm just comfortable where I am with 8, but this video has given me more reason to upgrade sooner then later.

But at the same time, I'm afraid of Windows 7. And don't even get me started on 8.

Anywho, I look forward to trying X2 now, where as before I was daunted and almost terrified.

Thanks Deebs!
