Rendering with track breaks?

I'm using Tracktion3 (and I love it, even though it's no longer supported)

Need help with getting track breaks so folks can skip track on their cd, if you can.

I master my cds, then render 'em one song at a time (muting the others songs on separate tracks), then load them as WAV files to realplayer and burn 'em as a playlist--It gives me the track breaks, but I have no control over how much time is between songs... any solutions?

The CD is coming along swimingly--and you folks have been a HUGE help. The music is ready with guide vocals, and I'm passing out cds to the crew so they can nail down the vocal melodies.

Thanks again for all your help :^)

Not sure about traktion, but software such as Wavelab has these options. Worth the investment, great tool.

Other than that I am no help :-).

Tracktion is (or, well, was) a tracking app, what you are looking for are mastering tools. Track timing is available, not only in the big buck tools like Wavelab, Sound Forge and such things, but also in a lot of CD's burning apps. Most CD burning app that support "red book standard" supports song gaps and generally allow for a different length of time to be set between songs.

I just downloaded some free/open source CD burning software for my projects. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but I'll reply back with what I'm using when i get home.

It supports the standard "2-second" gap between tracks, and also seemless playthrough, but with track numbers (Like Stravinski's Firebird the Complete Ballet)

I don't think the amount of gap is adjustable, I need to check, but that might be able to float your boat. I'll post back tomorrow night.

EDIT:
Okay, back from FL. The software I grabbed was CDBurnerXP.
The pause length between tracks is indeed adjustable in seconds, or you can select no pauses between tracks.

J-Bot, thanks for mentioning that freeware, I have it as well, but have used it in limited capacity, good to know it has decent standards and features for audio compilation burning.
