Hi
I use a lot of fingerstyle guitar playing live, i mix 2 sources of pickup on my Lakewood guitar, a Sunrise sound hole pickup and a k.k acoustic soundboard transducer. Each pickup is fed seperately into a valve pre amp. I was just wondering if anyone had used the Behringer Ultra Q Pro PEQ 2200 5 band parametric equaliser for either live or any recording work, it looks a great tool, i was thinking of putting one on each of my acoustic guitar pickups to help equalise and tune out any feed back frequencies. And at the price i think i could afford to do it.
Regards

this is only 3-band and it's most likely more expensive, but look at it anyway:

Hi
Thanks, looks like some nice gear never heard of it before, like the look of the compressor might work well on my telecaster, i use a Boss one live at the moment but it squeezes the signal too much and the parametric could be just up my street would have to buy 2 though one for each pickup.
Great
Vikki.

the Behriger is a decent EQ , I've used one in the live set up before , and have had no problems , and for the price behringer equipment goes for IT'S A STEAL , and my self and a large group of people here , use a bit of there equipment . as for recording I lead more tward plug-in EQ's than an out board unit .

Hey Vikki, You allready have the valve pre so the Behringer would be great addition to what you have. And the 5 bands will give you a bit more tayloring ability to work with. I have used them in the studio in the past and liked them for ease of use. I have switched up to their Ultra-Curve digital EQ no though. But as I said, the Ultra-Q Pro is a good unit and very stable.
