I'm looking at getting new pick ups from guitar , I have a few I'm looking at and seeing what everyone else thinks , I'm looking for some nice "meaty crunch" but also ones that can keep the good tone . I'm looking at Seymour duncan SH-8's or SH-6 (maybe both for two different guitars) or EMG HZ H4A's they look good too . any help would be cool . My style is around NIN and Filters .

Seymour duncan Jeff Beck Hambucker will do the job. Try it before you buy anything else.

What's a "hambucker"? A pickup from McDonalds, maybe it comes free with a happy meal?

Geoff, the EMGs are really ballsy, their 81 series will also shred bigtime. I use DiMarzio Evolutions in the neck and bridge, and the FastTrack II in the middle of my Ibanez. The Evolutions are what Steve Via uses if your not familiar with the sound. They can be clamly quite or totally all out shred. I have all three wired for 3 way coil tap, which makes that guitar perfect for the studio. I can get just about any tone I want out of that thing, escept of course a hollow body.
