Adobe Audition 3.0

Hey I have Adobe Audition 3.0
2 Questions:

1. Is it good for recording? (I'm only using it because I can't get Pro Tools 8 to work on my computer)

2. After recording with only one mic, how do I get it to play through both the left and right ear pieces.

Thanks

1) It's a recording program. They're all "good for recording" assuming they work. Maybe try Reaper...

2) Sounds like you're trying to record a mono source to a stereo input. Don't do that = No problem.

1) It tracks really quite well but as mentioned they are all good/great
2) Select the "M" (Mono) on the track and send it to the master and it will come out of both speakers.

I use it and have for years, works fine.

When selecting the input you need to select mono instead of stereo (mine show as Mon1 - Mon8 vs ST1 - ST4) as microphones are mono.

Haha, just realized that I said 'M' for mono which of course is incorrect. It actually means mute! However, it is with the same group of buttons. The button looks like this
