Beatles on iTunes

OK...no big deal. Every Beatle fan already owns all of their stuff and has probably ripped everything into iTunes or other mp3 player of their choice.

I was yawning the whole thing off when I clicked on the "Watch the Concert" link. Absolutely AMAZING footage of a historical event! Live at the Washington Coliseum. I can't even imagine what that must have been like. Concert-in-the-Round...dragging their equipment around on the face so as to face different directions. No visible stage monitors. Worst PA ever thrown together. Inches away from screaming, frenzied fans who could overtake and crush the stage at the drop of a hat. Their FIRST concert in America...who knew?

You gotta check it out.

Cool! Sounds like I know what I'm doing tonight. I've been reading the book by Geoff Emerick "Here, There and Everwhere". Did you say you'd read that already? If not, it's definitely an entertaining read.

Yes, I read that book. I remember posting about it here (this would have been two or three years ago). You're right, it's an incredible book with amazing insight into the whole magical Beatles recording process.

Yeah, check out the Beatle concert on iTunes. I didn't watch the whole thing, but...WOW!

I love how itunes sells a digital "box set".

Personally, I would but this off amazon as I hate giving apple my money :)
